Stripe is a bit like PayPal – it lets you take credit card payments without the hassle of getting a merchant account and ePayment gateway. It also lets you ‘pay as you go’ rather than shelling out in advance for a credit card facility.
All you need to do is click to admin /settings / payments
Find “Accept Credit Cards”, click on the “Select a credit card gateway” drop down, and choose Stripe.
Then just fill out the form
Then put through a transaction to confirm that credit card payments show up as a payment option on checkout.
"The fantastic team at eChic.com.au really know their craft! They don't just build and design websites, but they really understand the needs, concerns and challenges that the small business owner has; whether they are just starting out or they are seasoned entrepreneurs.
Kim and her team, and a special shout out to Tina and Nicole, have worked on two websites for me now, and both times I hade always felt I was in safe and competent hands. They clearly explained everything during the project, and as a non-techie person I never felt I was talked down or any comments dismissed.
I wholeheartedly recommend eChic for all your eCommerce website needs . They are very approachable and offered me great value for my websites."
